Leakage Studies

Every market experiences leakage in one form or another, no matter if you are an isolated non-hub airport or a large hub airport. Leakage occurs for many reasons, ranging from fare variances, airline availability, nonstop services differences, or operational challenges.

The Leakage Studies are the cornerstone of most air service development efforts. The data is used to justify additional service, new routes and can help guide sales and marketing efforts at the airline.
